Setting up JumpCloud SSO in Level AI

The Level AI - Jumpcloud SSO enables members of your contact center to seamlessly log into your Level AI platform without having to create separate credentials. Also, your IT team can easily onboard new members into Level AI via Jumpcloud SSO.

Configuration steps

Part I: Registering your Level AI application on your Jumpcloud

  1. Navigate to https://console.jumpcloud.com/login/admin and login as an Admin. 

  2. In the side navigation panel, click SSO Applications > then, click Add New Application.

  1. In the list of applications that appears, select Custom Application. 

  1. Click Next to proceed.

  1. Select the Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) check box and click to choose the Configure SSO with SAML option. Click Next to proceed. 

  1. In the Display Label field, enter a name for the application e.g., Level AI and click Save Application.

  1. Once saved successfully, click Configure Application.

  1. Under the SSO tab, enter the IdP Entity ID as jumpcloud and the SP Entity ID as levelai

  1. Scroll further down the same page,

    - under ACS URLs, in the Default URL field, enter the value

    https://prod-api.thelevel.ai/accounts/jumpcloud/saml/sso/
    - in the SAML Subject NameID Format dropdown, select the option urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress

  1. Scroll further down the page; under the Sign option, select Assertion and Response.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page to fill the attributes section. You will need the following 3 attributes to map your users correctly with the Level AI platform: FirstName (firstname), LastName (lastname), and Email (email).

  1. Next, click the User Groups tab and select the users whom you want give access to the Level AI application. It is mandatory to select at least one user group. Click Save.

  1. Click Save again.

  1. You will be able to see the Level AI application created in the list. Click the Level AI Application to open it.

  1. A modal appears with the application details. Navigate to the  SSO tab and click the Copy Metadata URL button. 

Part II: Complete the setup on Level AI

  1. Once you have completed all of the above steps in your Jumpcloud account,  log in to your Level AI app using your Super Admin credentials.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Settings > click Single Sign-on. Click Configure JumpCloud.

  3. Paste the metadata URL that you had copied earlier into the Embed link field and click Send.

  4. This will complete the JumpCloud SSO setup and you can begin using it.

  5. Your users will see the Login via JumpCloud icon in the Level AI login page.
