Homegrown Systems Integration with LevelAI

Clients can integrate their homegrown systems with LevelAI using two primary pathways to sync their data into LevelAI as conversations. These conversations can be ingested as Chat, SMS, Email or Call channels.

To create a comprehensive view of your conversations, LevelAI would mainly need:

  • Agent Data: Unique identifier (Agent Email), Agent First/Last names, and timestamps of conversation created.

  • Conversation Content: Text transcripts for digital channels(chat/sms/email) or audio files (MP3/WAV) for call.

LevelAI offers two flexible pathways to bring your data into Level AI, allowing you to choose the method that best aligns with your systems.

1. SFTP-Based Integration (Recommended)

The SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) method is our most popular and recommended choice for homegrown systems as it places maximum control in clients hands.

  • How it Works: Level AI provides a secure, dedicated SFTP server. Clients system simply drops conversation metadata (in CSV format) and audio files into this folder. Our ingestion engine monitors this folder on a configurable hourly basis to pull and process new data.

  • Why Clients Choose This: You decide exactly which records to send. If you need to apply custom filters, or pause the sync for maintenance, you can do so entirely on your end.

    • Ease of Management: There is no need to expose internal APIs to the internet. As long as your system can export a CSV and move a file, you can integrate with Level AI.

    • Reliability: It is a "set and forget" robust pipeline that can handle seamless ingestions.

2. API-Based Integration

For organizations that prefer a pull-based mechanism, Level AI can interface directly with your system's custom API.

  • Automated Polling: Clients can provide us with a secure API endpoint and authentication credentials. LevelAI's system will poll client's API—typically on an hourly basis—to retrieve agent details and the locations of your conversation files (audio).

  • Seamless Data Flow: LevelAI would fetch the data, download the associated recordings, and begin the transcription process using our internal ASR and translation tools.
