Intercom integration with Level AI

You can import your customer conversations from Intercom into Level AI to gain valuable insights. With the Intercom - Level AI integration, conversations will be ingested from your Intercom instance into Level AI in a systematic, periodic manner.

Currently, the Intercom integration supports ingesting conversations for the Email, and Chat channels only.

Setting up your Intercom integration

  1. Login to your Level AI tenant as an Admin. In the left sidebar, navigate to Settings > Integrations screen.

  2. Under the Available section, click Intercom.


  3. Click Install to initiate the set up process. You can click the hyperlink for step-by-step guidance on setting up the integration. 

  4. You will be navigated to the Intercom auth page. Enter your Intercom Admin credentials and click Sign In. 

  5. Click Authorize access. Upon successful authentication, you will be redirected to the Integrations page to continue with the setup process.


  6. Select the channels of conversation that you want to import from Intercom. Click Finish to complete the set up.

Pausing data ingestion

If you want to momentarily pause data ingestion,

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations. Under the Installed section,  click the Intercom icon to open your Intercom integration.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Using the toggle, deactivate the desired channels for which you want to stop ingesting conversations and click Update. 

Uninstalling your Intercom integration

NOTE
This is an irreversible process. The Intercom integration will be uninstalled by removing the authentication between Level AI and Intercom. All ongoing and scheduled data ingestions will be terminated until re-installed.

If you want to uninstall your existing Intercom integration,

  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations. Under the Installed section,  click the Intercom icon to open your Intercom integration.

  2. In the screen that appears, click the More Options icon. In the list that is displayed, click Uninstall. 

  3. Click Yes, Uninstall to confirm.
